Horizons of Hope

April 2020

Greetings to my friends and family during this difficult time. I hope you are staying safe -- and sane! Many of us in quarantine can take solace in beauty, binge TV, walks in nature, and time with family.

As an artist, I choose to consider this time as “artist in residence” rather than isolation.

My pop-up show at Arsenault Studio & Banyan Arts Gallery was scheduled to begin on March 27. Instead, the collection of my new work is a virtual pop up show on the Gallery’s website.

The show is called “Horizons.” In the Arsenault’s email, they quote FDR: “We have always held to the hope, the belief, the conviction, that there is a better life, a better world, beyond the horizon.”

I hope you enjoy the paintings and look beyond the horizon with hope.
