Reconnecting

My husband and I delayed our return by one month as we huddled at the TV to witness the ferocity and damage of Ian.

Thankfully, due to heroic efforts, our transition to Naples was relatively smooth, even as we still pray for the harder-hit coasts of Lee County.

A day after arriving I went to my gallery to find it was untouched by the storm save for a few fallen palm fronds. The 11 paintings I shipped to Naples awaited me. Then the hard work began to hang the gallery with the fruits of my summer labor and to get ready for reopening.

After hanging the gallery, I brought in a very talented photographer to capture the moment because the gallery changes constantly when paintings sell and new works take their places.

I am thrilled to announce that my Naples gallery will open on Wednesday, December 7.

The bigger excitement for me is to get back to my easel to continue to explore the new directions of my art. The Amy Art Gallery & Studio will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 12 noon until 4 p.m. You can also visit by appointment by calling or texting me at 402-203-2041. Please drop by.
