Angels in Paradise Party

December 2023

We hosted a holiday party with an angelic theme ...

The Amy Art Gallery + Studio team (thank you Beth Preddy and Olivia Veliz!) welcomed hundreds of visitors to our “Angels in Paradise” holiday party complete with Illuminated angel statues, a repast of sweet confections and “heavenly kiss” cocktails, and a violinist to serenade the guests.

For the party, I handpainted dozens of paper gift tags in the shape of angels, a collection of 10×8 inch angels, and a larger, 24×24 inch angel to raffle.

One hundred percent of the proceeds were donated to Youth Haven, the only emergency shelter in Collier County for children and teens, which offers both short-term and long-term shelter options.

I also curated the gallery especially for the event to show my newest paintings and to keep the exhibits fresh and new with an ongoing rotation of artwork, mixing in coastals with abstracts, florals and girls.

The party was the largest gathering we’ve hosted to date! Next up is the official GRAND opening on January 18!

All proceeds from the sales of the original angel paintings and raffle tickets will be donated to Youth Haven.

There is no charge for the event and the community is welcome to attend.

About Amy Moglia Heuerman
Nationally known artist Amy Moglia Heuerman has her feet planted in two worlds: She is a prolific painter as well as the owner of two galleries that showcase her work, one in Naples, Fla., and the other in Bay Harbor, Mich. Both galleries include studio space where Amy creates her colorful and uplifting canvases. She expresses her broad vision in a range of styles, while all her work is unmistakably hers. Her wingspan is expansive. She paints inspiring seascapes, dynamic abstracts, her popular “girl” series, and impressionistic florals. She paints until she reaches a positive moment and visitors to her galleries admire her joyful, sun-lit flooded spaces.
